Conversations with friends are valuable and to make sure these conversations remain interesting and keep continuing, we are committed to adding new features and have introduced conversation tags. Yes, you can watch any language you want but till videos as long as y99 watch supports the link if y99 watch do not support the link then you can’t

* If I pause the video, will it pause for everyone?

No normal people who are invited can’t pause the video, only a host can pause the video. However, you can take the remote and become a host then you can pause the video or else you can’t

* Can I increase or decrease the volume?

Yes, you can and it won’t affect the other users it affect only on you it won’t affect to other who are watching the video

* Do I have an option to chat with my fellow users?

Yes, you can comment in real-time like a live stream and other users who are watching the video can see your comment and react to the video since the video is in sync.

* Can I change my username every time I use the room?

Yes, you can change the username.

No, you cant enter with the same room name that you have created previously

* Can we change it to our preferred language?

No, only English language is supported for now for now only english language is support from update they will add new language

If your Y99 is not loading/ opening which rarely happens for anyone, you may take the below steps to resolve the problem.

1. Use another browser to login to Y99. Examples of browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Edge, etc.
2. If you have a VPN app, turn it on to see if it fixes the loading problem.
3. Sometimes, VPNs might be the cause behind the issue. If so, try switching your VPN off for a while.
4. Try clearing the cache of your browser. To clear the cache, you need to goto the page where you clear your browser’s history from.
5. Try using incognito/ private mode of your browser. This mode helps you temporarily get a clean browser (cookies and cache are gone).

Firstly, click the three lines icon on the top left.

A menu will appear from the left side. Choose Switch Accounts option.

The switch accounts dialog will appear. Click “Add Account”.

Now login to your second account or create a new account.

After this, you would be logged into your second account. If you wish to switch back to your previous account, you can do that easily. Click the three lines button on the top left > Switch Accounts. From the account switcher, choose the account you wish to switch into.

You can add and switch between upto 5-7 accounts. If you try to add more accounts, the bottom most account will get removed from the sessions. This doesn’t mean that your account is gone. It simply means that you will need to add it again to the switcher by entering your username and password combination.

Group chat is a kind of chat that can let several people from closer or farther locations to communicate with each other at the same time. To be more specific, group chatting is the ability to to chat with multiple people at the same time.

Y99 lets you create the most reachable group chat on internet. It shines on every platform that exists, from desktop to android phones to mac to iPhone. How to make a group chat

1. The first step is to open the home page, to choose a username Open Y99 Web

2. Click continue to proceed.

3. Click on Create Now to open the options to create a group chat.

4. Adjust/ choose options based on how you would like your group chat to be. Choose your group chat name by populating the field Enter a name for your room. Your group chat name can be anything from funny, friendly to having a meaning.

5. Choose password protection if you would like to add a password to your group chat. Any user who will try to join your group chat by following the link provided by you will be required to enter the password before joining the group.

6. Click on continue once you have chosen the options and a group name.

7. A confirmation page with the shareable group invite link will appear. This link can be shared anywhere on any social platforms (facebook, twitter, instagram, vk, reddit) , messengers like (facebook messenger, whatsapp, telegram, signal) and on blogging platforms (blogspot, wordpress posts, wix) and forums as well.

Sharing a Group Chat

You will definitely want your group chat to be easily accessible to your friends, family and people you are meeting with. Who doesn’t want to send a link that explains itself enough. Y99’s links have been tuned to show your group chat as an invite to anyone you will be inviting anywhere(wherever the Open graph Meta Tags are supported).

To share your group chat when you are in the group, tap on the invite people from userlist.

Upon clicking, an invite dialog will appear.

Click on copy to clipboard to copy the link and send it yourself to whichever destination you wish. If you are already logged in to any other platforms, you can choose to click on the listed app icons. For instance a link shared on your facebook timeline will look as shown in below heading.

Recent messages = Messages page = Messages List = Conversation History = PMs they all mean the same thing.

To remove (hide) a conversation from your recent messages list, touch and hold it for a while. A popup menu will appear, choose Hide Conversation.

The conversation will remain hidden until that user messages you.

If you choose Empty Chat instead of Hide Conversation, all the chat history for that conversation will get deleted for you but they will continue to have their copy of the conversation.

How to clear all recent messages?

Its not possible to clear all the messages from the “Messages” page in one shot. You have to hold and hide the messages one by one.

How to find someone by their username on Y99? You can send people messages or friend requests by their usernames on Y99. This is how you do it.

If you can not see a message option, it means your app is outdated. Try updating it or wait for an automatic update to reach you.
