The /warn command is a moderation feature in Y99 used to caution users who are breaking room rules. When you type:
/warn username

It sends a warning to the user and automatically displays the room rules for them to review.

Why Use /warn?

  • Prevents escalation – Gives the user a chance to improve behavior.
  • Clear & direct – Instantly shows the rules.
  • Consistent enforcement – Keeps all moderators aligned.

How to Use:

1) Identify a rule violation (e.g., spam, offensive content).

2) Type /warn username in chat.

3) Politely explain the reason for the warning.

4) If the issue continues, escalate with /mute or /ban.Example:

A user floods chat with emojis → /warn

user123 → “Please keep emoji use minimal 🙂” → Problem resolved without a ban.

Tip: Save warnings for minor or first-time offenses, and always keep your tone respectful.
