Recent messages = Messages page = Messages List = Conversation History = PMs they all mean the same thing.
To remove (hide) a conversation from your recent messages list, touch and hold it for a while. A popup menu will appear, choose Hide Conversation.
The conversation will remain hidden until that user messages you.
If you choose Empty Chat instead of Hide Conversation, all the chat history for that conversation will get deleted for you but they will continue to have their copy of the conversation.
How to clear all recent messages?
Its not possible to clear all the messages from the “Messages” page in one shot. You have to hold and hide the messages one by one.
